It has been reported to me that The Samson Inn has erected an illegal sign on the signpost at the junction heading to Gilsland. It has been erected under the brown tourist sign. Can it be removed please as other businesses in the area are not erecting signs and it will start a precidence

Pot hole on entrance to Walltown Crags

Obviously Im aware that theres many pot holes on the road into the Crags due to the work being done there and heavy vehicles but this is a particularly bad one due to where it is, right on the junction as youre turning in. Even if a temporary fix was done until the whole road into there can be fixed would be a big improvement.

I reported this weeks ago. I can see that someone else has also reported it. This layby is disgusting and polluting the nearby area. These bins need emptying at least weekly if not more and a proper litter pick needs to happen

Overflowing litter bin with litter onto the train tracks

At the parking spot on the left hand side going from Greenhead to Haltwhistle on the A69 there is a huge litter problem. The bin is over flowing and the litter is spilling onto the train tracks. There are also plastic hedge guards that need removing all along that road as well.

A Gritting Request - Roads problem has been found byoccupant of Thirlwall Cstle farm
Customer is asking if we can either grit the road running up the Thirlwall castle or place grit heaps as last year near to the railway tracks or on the main bank
It is very icey and dangerous. He has a feed delivery for cattle tomorrow and is concerned that the wagon will not get up the bank as it is
