Potential for damage and parts if a tree falling in to the M66
13th April
During the storms a number of large branches fell into and onto our property from the trees between us and the motorway, causing damage and blocking us in. My concern is that, had the tree parts fallen the other way, they would have landed on the motorway with potential serious consequences. Although the trees seem stable and are in leaf, there are some dead branches etc when looked at recently. You may feel this is not of concern but I felt it worth reporting.

Pothole getting gradually worse
25th January
Various potholes are starting to appear on northbound carriageway on lane 1 on M6 between J44 (North Carlisle) and J45 (Gretna). You should sent an inspection team to check these out but they are getting worse especially at Todhill services, Floriston bridge and last mile before J45 at Gretna. Lanes 2 and 3 seem OK.
