Large sunken pothole on Upperby Rd by the Rock pub.

The pot hole has been filled but it has sunken like a small sink hole and left a large, deep hole which cars are regularly hitting. My car has already hit it several times and it is likely to cause damage to tyres.

People parking to go to South End Club

Cara just abandoning on double yellow lines parked on pavements dont care for residents or pedestrians. Tuesday 22nd 3 cars parked on double yellow lines bus struggled to get past to go towards currock. Side of the pub 10 cars parked on pavement blocking for people to walk on the paths.

Cannot park in allocated car park

15th April

We have a car park belonging to 8 residents in a block of houses. A few of us have some sort of disability and due to the council refusing to put up signs saying for residents only or private car park, we cannot get parked close to our homes. Workers park there and there is a large grass bank running in front of the houses so nowhere else to park. It has become a nightmare. Stealing the cones we put out and complete disregard for our situation.

Parking on double yellows blocking the road

Hi getting pretty sick now. Every night from 4pm mostly the whole road is being blocked by cars, all using bodytek gym. There just be 20-40 cars parked along the side of the road making it one lane, problem is it then backs up under the bridge so you cant get up and down the road. Its all day really but mental at 5-6pm.

Blocking Meighbours back yards for access

I wish to report by the side of my neighbours house at the bottom of Jackson st behind Grace st tjere is a recovery truck Egertons & a big pick up parked on the land blocking elderly people's gates amd access to their properties everyone is getting sick of it & unsure who to report it to ,people park there as don't need a permit which needs a sign up for permit holders only

Commercial lorry blocking pavement and obstructing road vision

Large commercial lorry above 7.5 tonnes parking in residential estate on pavement.obstructing not only foot access for pedestrians but blocking view of drivers from intersection road in estate, residents exiting drive ways and vehicles in road may potentially lead to a collision or potential accident due to vision obstruction due to big lorry parking on pavement. Vehicle has been parked in location for 3 days now. Would like to prevent possible accident in estate due to where it's parked. Driver has stipulated that he won't move lorry.

Blocking footpath

13th December

Same car keeps parking across the public footpath that runs between the street behind ours & ours, that leads to the local shops. Because of this constant inconsiderate parking where there was once a no parking line painted (it's faded now) people on foot are now using the bay where my car is parked to walk from the lane to the other side causing damage to my car. This is our properties designated bay as it leads to our druveway& garage. Buggies/prams & bicycles are unable to get by the car safely. Sometimes I can't get onto or out of my own drive without some very imaginative steering. Please could someone repaint the no parking signage that was once visible on the road.

Reported this on the council web site at least a year ago. It was still there a couple of weeks ago. Its just as you turn off the roundabout - if you see it you have to swerve to avoid it. Hopefully no oncoming traffix!

Lose paving slab

Across the footbridge, on the East side of the River Caldew, there is a lose paving slab at the top of the stairs. It tilts as you walk on it but it has now sunk enough to cause a lip. Unfortunately it's a trip hazard now at the top of the stairs.

Timings of traffic lights.

8th November

The timings of the lights in front of Sainsburys for turning towards Dixons chimney seem to have changed leading to excessive traffic build up back up Newtown Road at peak times. A trip that usually takes about 10 mins from Cumberland Infirmary to the centre of town is taking at least 20 mins. Its been like this for the few weeks, since the end of October. Please can this be looked into, have any changes been made that may have lead to this? Thanks.

Danger at an unpainted crossing

The white line that keeps cars off the pedestrian crossing is so degraded that few notice it and some run well into the crossing to the peril of pedestrians old and young. A repainting of the lines is needed NOW before incident.
