This pothole is in an area where water puddles on the road which means you only see it at the last moment and because of its size will potentially damage car wheels and suspension

Rubbish road surface
5th February
At the point marked on the map there drain has sunk and the tarmac around it has broken up causing potholes. Also the stretch of road from the the junction with the orange road down to near the entrance to Ladyrigg Farm has lots of potholes and edges breaking away. Contractors have spent the last week resurfacing some of the road but have left many potholes. Doesn't make sense when they resurface parts with no problems and leave the bad bits. Would love to see the explanation !!

Pothole
23rd June
This pothole was reported several months ago. It is now down to the loose sub-base under the tarmac and getting bigger and deeper by the week. I don't think its even been looked at yet as there's no paint round it.
