There are several (by the look of things deep but narrow) potholes on the main carriageway of the motorway immediately after the southbound sliproad joins the motorway. Also the repairs to the potholes on the sliproad are getting to be in poor shape.

Pothole
28th February
The deep pothole in this location has caused damage to my tyre and wheel. The tyre needed to be replaced and the wheel is buckled and may also need to be replaced. I don't know how long the pothole has been there but the damage was caused to my car on Friday evening and tyre replaced and wheel inspected on Monday morning

Very large pothole

There is a very large pothole just as you go under tge bridge at j41 Northbound M6. It is in the first lane next to the hard shoulder. When i say large i mean its deep and will be doing some damage to vehicles. I have hit it tonight!

Water flowing onto road
14th January
Water is flowing out of the corner of a field belonging to Penrith Golf Club on to the corner of Green Lane Penrith. The water runs across the road as the drain under the road is blocked with vegetation. In freezing weather this water turns to ice and makes it very dangerous for both vehicles and pedestrians. This area is a very popular walking route. This problem has occurred every winter for the past few years and nothing has been done about it although it has been reported.
