There are several (by the look of things deep but narrow) potholes on the main carriageway of the motorway immediately after the southbound sliproad joins the motorway. Also the repairs to the potholes on the sliproad are getting to be in poor shape.

Large pothole on hill towards Sun Inn

This pothole and a smaller one are a danger to all vehicles. Causeing vehicles travelling towards The Sun Inn to move to the centre of the road, and meet traffic coming in the opposite direction without any visuals beforehand.

Deep pothole and crumbling road surface

This hole has been causes but utilities companies continually digging up the road surface. The tarmac has crumbled and the road is being washed away

Pothole
28th February
The deep pothole in this location has caused damage to my tyre and wheel. The tyre needed to be replaced and the wheel is buckled and may also need to be replaced. I don't know how long the pothole has been there but the damage was caused to my car on Friday evening and tyre replaced and wheel inspected on Monday morning

Road in poor state of repair

Hello,
I hope you can help.
We moved in to Balwmacara, Newton Reigny, CA11 0AY in February 2021 and have been surprised at the condition of the road immediately outside the property. I have attached a couple of photos for your perusal.
I have spoken to a neighbour, and he said the road has been in the same state since our property was built c.1980. As you can see from the photographs, there are some kerbs installed, but I think you will agree that some work is required to put the road in to a good a state.
The road is used regularly for access to Greystoke Lodge and Wyngarth House, so Im sure their occupants will appreciate the road being repaired.

Tarmac road surface ripped up
22nd July
Due to the extreme heat the tarmac surface has become unstable. Due to heavy large wheel tractors moving silage accelerating up hill the tyres have ripped up the tarmac surface. Large clumps of tarmac have been lifted up and cast around the road surface.
