A series of 10 x potholes in close succession as you drive past The Queen's Head pub and Chambers' Garage
18th February
A cluster of 10 x potholes on the B5320 as you drive past The Queen's Head Public House and Chambers' Garage. Staff driving in to work at Howtown from Penrith have all voiced concern about the damage that these potholes are potentially causing to their cars. While I am here, I will also mention a little further on (a matter of maybe 50 metres) towards the west end of the village (by the Bus Shelter on the north side of the road B5320) there is a new pothole starting to form which has already got bigger than when I first noticed it two weeks ago.
