First, I would like to say, thank you to Cardiff city council for illuminating one of our underpasses in my area. Now the real reason Im writing to you is; as I said previously you have done a fine job, but the problem is that you finished this work around two months ago and the lighting have never gone out since then. (In short, they have been on for twenty-four hours, seven days a week). Would it be possible to turn them off in the day time and then back on at night; this may save some money for you. Location is: The roundabout at the junction Llanewrwg Way and Willowbrook Drive, underpass number 3.

Cars parking on double yellow lines

Every weekend people attending the Catholic Church on Wentloog Rd are causing choas with illegal parking. Their vehicles are obstructing vision to get out of The Grove onto Wentloog Rd. This is an accident waiting to happen with cars speeding down the road around the bend which cannot be seen . Also they are parking up The Grove causing obstructions. If any emergency vehicles were called - ie fire service , they would not be able to get access. This has previously been reported to police , the church , and the council. But keeps happening.

Rubbish still there after over 1 month!

This rubbish problem outside the main entrance to the block of flats which contains flat 121 Bryn Celyn, Pentwyn, Cardiff, CF23 7EG wAs reported 27.02.25 On the 28.02.25 I received an email from Bethan with a ref of Jen1269097930 stating that the problem would be passed on to the caretaker & team. Last week, as the rubbish was still there, I rang the council office to report this. First person I spoke to - as did the second person - informed me that the ref nos I had been given by email was a total waste of time as it was house at all. I felt she did not want to deal with call & passed me on to a second person. This second person at least showed concern & said she would get back to me. As of today's date this has no happened So to summerise, Why is the rubbish still there? Why has the caretaker & team not removed the rubbish as they clean the flats to a high standard fortnightly? Why send me a ref nos which is of no use or relevance to issue reprted?

Three persons from a different street to where they live are making it very difficult for me to get in or off my drive, I previously asked them not to,but their father came out and verbally abused me,he is a well built man and I was extremely frightened. Large section of New Road is rough and uneven, full of potholes. Been like it for months. It literally feels like you are tearing up your tyres as you drive over it. The whole of new road needs to be looked at. Its really bad.
