First, I would like to say, thank you to Cardiff city council for illuminating one of our underpasses in my area. Now the real reason Im writing to you is; as I said previously you have done a fine job, but the problem is that you finished this work around two months ago and the lighting have never gone out since then. (In short, they have been on for twenty-four hours, seven days a week). Would it be possible to turn them off in the day time and then back on at night; this may save some money for you. Location is: The roundabout at the junction Llanewrwg Way and Willowbrook Drive, underpass number 3.

Pavement tree is damaging my wall.
16th April
A maple tree planted in the pavement is too close to my wall and is causing damage. A leading Cardiff arborist advises the wall is likely to collapse into the pavement. In an almost identical case across Valarian Close but on land owned by 11 Water Avens Close, the owner had a similar tree removed by the Parks Department and was told that his piece of land was being adopted by the council who still appear from time to time to manage vegetation. Id like the Parks Department to investigate and take appropriate action to prevent a H&S issue whereby a passing member of the public could be injured if the wall collapses. Previously reported to the Parks Department with my last email remaining unanswered. Also reported to our MP and local councillor.

Inconsiderate parking

Three persons from a different street to where they live are making it very difficult for me to get in or off my drive, I previously asked them not to,but their father came out and verbally abused me,he is a well built man and I was extremely frightened. I am 70 yrs of age and having to drive my car over high pavements are taking its toll on my vehicle, I am at a loss at what I can do next, I am frightened of how these thing's can escalate.please help me

Pavement tree growth is damaging my boundary wall.

Over the last six months I noted movement in my wall caused by growth in the maple tree planted in the pavement. I am worried that further damage will occur if the tree continues to grow and the pavement will also suffer damage.
