Damaged manhole cover sinking into the hole

There is a sinking manhole cover on the pavement on the right hand pavement of heol pontprennau (heading towards the school), but the right pavement) - it is a set of three covers where the other two are not damaged. Concerned it will eventually crumble into itself.

Rubbish still there after over 1 month!
4th April
This rubbish problem outside the main entrance to the block of flats which contains flat 121 Bryn Celyn, Pentwyn, Cardiff, CF23 7EG wAs reported 27.02.25 On the 28.02.25 I received an email from Bethan with a ref of Jen1269097930 stating that the problem would be passed on to the caretaker & team. Last week, as the rubbish was still there, I rang the council office to report this. First person I spoke to - as did the second person - informed me that the ref nos I had been given by email was a total waste of time as it was house at all. I felt she did not want to deal with call & passed me on to a second person. This second person at least showed concern & said she would get back to me. As of today's date this has no happened So to summerise, Why is the rubbish still there? Why has the caretaker & team not removed the rubbish as they clean the flats to a high standard fortnightly? Why send me a ref nos which is of no use or relevance to issue reprted?

Conditions of the pavement

The pavements are in a terrible state very uneven and dirty also the road needs cleaning, due to all the open reach and gas works that have been done. The street sign is unreadable due to fading, I have reported this before and nothing has been done about it.

Multiple noisy / clanking manhole covers in road
19th March
Following recents works to Ty Draw Road related to the new development further up the road, several manhole covers have been laid in the road. This report concerns those just south of Ty Draw House (pin on map shows approximate location on Ty Draw Road). It appears that at least one, but seemingly several of the manhole covers are wobbly and therefore make a loud noise as vehicles drive over them. As traffic flow has increased on the road, this now happens frequently throughout the day and the loud clanking disrupts the previously peaceful character of the area and is causing a nuisance. Please can these manholes be checked and adjusted so that they are not able to noisily clank. I assume as they have recently been fitted (i.e. within the last 12 months) that a defect check will be possible. Many thanks

From the railway station down towards Fidlas road is in very poor condition. The whole surface has broken up and is now beyond pot hole filling. There are some nasty potholes by the speed bumps and the road surface is crumbling

Moped and fast electric scooters

Fast mopeds and electric bikes constantly using this footpath. 6 weeks ago narrowly missing my 5 year old granddaughter by swerving and hit my cat. We need cross or some kind barrier at the start of this footpath to prevent motorised cycles but that will allow council vechicles.

General Household Refuse.
26th February
General household waste dumped/flytipped outside the entrance door to the block of flats of which housing flat 121 Bryn Celyn, Pntwyn. This is a fire hazard, health hazard, atracks vermin & of course is detrimental to the area especially when consideration is given to cost & time constructing the new rubbish compounds. I believe this flytipping to be due to the reissuing of keys to the occupants of the flats to in the area. I would suggest that if you have carried to the rubbish compound your weekly generated rubbish only to find you have forgotten your compound key you are unlikely to return to your flat to retrieve your forgotten key, return to your rubbish, deposit said rubbish in the compound & then return to your flat. Maybe it may be worth considering replacing the compound key locks with pass number locks.

Huge tall trees

Hi as youve obviously given permission for trees to be cut ( and they have been) for stream side at back of Pont faen, I request the trees In front of my house 4 CF23 7DR to be trimmed as they are top heavy and growing at an angle and I am afraid they will fall in my house.
