Cones prevented me from parking
7th May
I arrived at Churchill way Cardiff to go to m&s store and this is the closest disabled parking space to the store. I was unable to park as the cones were placed across the parking bays. I returned later to the area and cones still blocking the bays. No reason for the bays to be blocked as no work being carried out. When I have parked there before quite often there are cars using the disabled system without displaying a blue badge. Often there are high end cars especially a black Ferrari which was parked there the other week and may have something to do with the Flannels store. It is unacceptable that myself as a disabled driver cant park where I should be able to and the bays are being abused

Persistent Illegal Parking on Barrack Lane

Barrack Lane is a pedestrian zone, allowing loading only from midnight to 10:00 AM. Despite this, various vehicles park there daily, using it as free parking. This leads to frequent obstruction, putting pedestrians at risk due to constant traffic. The vehicle in the attached photo has been parked nightly from 10:00 PM to 5:30 AM since February 2025. No enforcement officers have been present for at least six months, making Barrack Lane an unofficial free parking area.

Heras fencing has been erected in the road without any works notice to occupy road space this has been very poorly erected posing a danger to parked vehicles and passers by.

The traffic lights are mistimed
20th April
The A4160 consistently has stand still traffic on it. This has been an issue since the bus lanes had been put in front of Queen Street Station. The traffic lights along this road have not been adjusted to take into account the 4 roads that are being pushed into 2 lanes resulting in sitting in traffic for up to an hour. This is particularly bad when you are coming from Newport Road and aim to drive to John Lewis or St Davids Car parks. Please can this issue be looked at as it has been a problem for well over a year.
