Huge hole just on the middle of 2 lanes
1st March
Its difficult to get the exact location, but as you come round the big fly over and you start to merge there is a hole there between 2 lanes, if I hit that on a motorbike, you could be in serious trouble.
Please if someone could have a look that would be appreciated

Precious repaired road surfacing has failed leaving a pothole approximately 50cm square and 10-15cm deep in the left hand wheel track of lane one. There is an exceptionally high probability of serious vehicle damage if it is hit.

Subsided gulley in middle of active lane
8th September
The road surface has gradually subsided on this sliproad (which is a tight, downhill corner). This has now formed a narrow twisting gulley running through the middle of the active lane, and become dangerous. Unlike a pothole, it has sloping sides that offer little grip when a wheel has entered the channel. My two right tyres became trapped in this gulley, when the road surface was wet, so there was insufficient grip to steer them out easily. When I turned the wheel sufficiently for the tyres to escape the gulley, the sudden change in direction caused my car to come off the road. If you test driving a small car on a wet day with the right hand wheels going along the gulley, this will help to demonstrate that the sliproad surface has become quite dangerous.

Queue detection sensors seem to regularly misdetect queues here
5th September
There are often queues at this location particularly in the morning rush period, but regularly during the day when there is light traffic, the signals at this location (A14 EB approaching Girton for M11) set themselves to 40 with 'Queue caution'. It's likely a loop detector or vergeside IR detector is mis-detecting queues here. Could this be looked into?
