BR6 is a postcode within the Bromley district in south-east London located in the borough of Bromley. It covers the main parts of the London suburbs of Downe, Keston, and Farnborough as well as the smaller areas of Squirrel's Heath, Knockholt, and Green Street Green.

The BR6 postcode is located close to the primary M25 motorway and is served by two railways stations, Green Street Green and Knockholt. It also has excellent links to central London through bus, train, and air services all within a 20 to 30 minute drive.

Keston and Downe are affluent residential areas with larger detached and semi-detached properties. The village of Farnborough still boasts a significant rural feel, and its picturesque landscapes and leisure facilities, including Farnborough Common, have made it a popular destination with locals.

The area also has numerous amenities to serve its own local residents; shops and restaurants are always close by, and The West Wickham and Knockholt Conservation Group, or WWKL, offers activities and projects to encourage wildlife conservation and a greener, better nation.

BR6 postcode is served by several well-respected schools including Warren Road Primary School, Keston Primary School, Newstead Wood School for Girls, and a number of sought-after secondary schools, such as Hayes School and Dowdney Theatre Arts School.

BR6 offers plentiful leisure activities, such as tennis, golf, and cricket at the Warren Road and Keston sports venues. Hay Park Golf Centre and Biggin Hill Airport are in the area, offering visitors to the area a range of recreational activities. Farnborough is also home to the National Trust's Keston Country Park, a large nature reserve created in the late 19th century.

There are, of course, plenty of places to visit in BR6 and the wider Bromley area too, from the historic Down House and Scotney Castle to the Go Ape adventure centre and the extensive walks along the St Mary Cray Valley.
