Dangerous exits due to parking
17th May
Rule 242 of the Highway Code states: "You MUST NOT leave your vehicle or trailer in a dangerous position or where it causes any unnecessary obstruction of the road". As shown in the photo cars exiting Morston Park onto the A21 have no field of vision (vehicle id black, field of vision is white) due to two residents parking their commercial vans half on the pavement and half on the road. and not in their driveways.(denoted in red). Vehicles regularly travel in excess of the proscribed speed limit of 30mph on the A21 making techniques like creep and peep extremely dangerous and life threatening.

Vehicles continually park on double yellow lines on both sides heading out of Bangor. This is causing moving vehicles to have to pull out sometimes crossing the lane marking to avoid parked cars. It is also obscuring lines of sight for vehicles coming out of side streets on to the main Bryansburn Road.
