Large road surface area seriously detoriated
2nd February
I am writing to express serious concern regarding the ever deteriorating road surface at the junction leaving Fordoun to join the A90 northbound. The condition of the road has become so poor that it is now a significant hazard for residents and road users.
Due to the damaged surface, vehicles are unable to gather sufficient speed to merge safely into traffic travelling at 70mph. The situation is increasingly dangerous, and I fear it is only a matter of time before it leads to an accident. At what point will this issue be given priority, lets hope its before someone gets hurt?
This junction is already challenging to navigate due to the volume and speed of traffic, and the current road condition makes it feel like driving over speed bumps while trying to accelerate onto the dual carriageway. There is no slip road to join the traffic, you are immediately entering into traffic travelling at 70mph. This is a serious safety risk that needs urgent attention!!!!.
The issue has been reported multiple times, yet no action has been taken. I urge you to escalate this matter and push for immediate repairs before a preventable accident occurs.
