Surface repair not complete
23rd May
Highways team attended the job today 23/05 but repaired only a small section of the carriageway. The report was of 5-6 potholes to be repaired. Please see photos of the work.
The job has been marked as complete but the repair is not sufficient.
Can this please be added to the priority list and your processes reviewed to investigate why only a small section has been repaired.

Litter bin has been moved by builders
15th May
The litter bin which has been situated outside of the old barclays bank on station road for many years has been moved by builders refurbishing the old bank. Unsure if permission has been sought for this or if it's now been securely fitted in the ground. Flytipping on A41 Bypass
layby on the left hand side when leaving from Station Rd
A resident of Albrighton has informed Albrighton and Donington Parish Council that there is a lot of fly tipping of wood chippings on the layby on the left hand side of the A41, when leaving Albrighton from Station Road. This is commercial wood chippings so would be worth investigating the company who has fly tipped or if there is any dash cam footage to find out who the company are. The incident took place between 12:30pm and 4:00pm on Tuesday 15th April 2025.

Overgrown tree - 40 Station Road
3rd April
There is an overgrown tree from 40 Station Road which hangs over the fencing onto the owned land by Shropshire Council on Cotswold Drive. This has been reported by a resident in previous months and by the Parish Council in December. Shropshire Council was requested to make contact with the owner back in December but this is an ongoing issue which hasn't been addressed. the tree also overhangs onto the road and causes an issue with lorries driving down the road and catching the trees. Can this please be addressed by Shropshire Council.
