Overgrown vegetation on footpath
12th May
The footpath between Hilton and Wyken is quickly becoming overgrown again, and for some reason this section of verge is never regularly cut, despite there being a well used public footpath that gets impassable when not cut. Please cut the verge before it becomes unusable!

H G V s travelling too fast through village.
23rd April
Very large vehicles are increasingly using this narrow lane and seriously eroding the edges of the tarmac and damaging the sandstone borders, hedges and trees. The 'Unsuitable for HGVs' sign at the junction with the B4176 is set back too far off the main road and not visible until lorries have made the turn into the lane. There is no sign at the village end of the lane. There is a blind bend on a slope which large vehicles have difficulty negotiating and no passing places.

Reform UK Sign present
15th April
Reform UK is a group that does not reflect British values and is a discriminatory and prejudiced group - they have placed a sign along this road by the bridge since the 7th April and it is an obstructive and unwelcome sight. This sign should be removed as the party has no place in British politics and it's presence is unwelcome

Multiple
large potholes along B4176
There are at least 4 large and deep potholes along the stretch of the B4176 between Chesterton Valley Golf Club and the Shell garage on the roundabout at the north end of the road, Sutton Maddock.
These potholes are hard to avoid without driving dangerously, especially considering it is a 60mph road. I have impacted one of the potholes at speed when driving to work on Monday 31 March which was unavoidable and has caused significant damage to my car including a buckled wheel rim and damaged wheel mount. It will cost me hundreds of pounds to fix this damage. These roads need to be fixed to prevent unnecessary damage to cars, costing people a lot of money to fix, when costs of living are already rising. People drive along that road each day to go to work (including myself) and should not have to worry that their car will undergo significant and costly damages each time.

Numerous deep potholes on the B4176 on the left side of the road
28th March
Numerous deep potholes on the B4176 on the left side of the road from the A454/B4176 roundabout to the roundabout at the Shell Station in Sutton Maddock and also from the A45e/B4176 on the right side of the road going towards Wombourne/Himley hall. Too many to avoid to due the traffic coming the other way on the road. Caller is very concerned and has raised the issue several times since January 2025.
Can you please investigate further and arrange for the road and potholes to be fixed?

The whole island is dangerous. The bridgnorth road entry to island has a hole then You have to swerve around the island at an angle so you dont hit any holes to go to the rabbit run, the whole of shropshires roads are disgusting and dont get done as i use these roads every day to go telford. The rabbit run is just as bad eith large holes down there as well.
