Cars parking on Carr Lane blocking visibility when leaving Powell Street
17th May
Cars and vans are parking on Carr Lane outside the terraced houses right up to the junction, blocking visibility for people leaving Powell Street and Emily Street. The visibility leaving these streets going onto Carr Lane is poor at the best of times, but when cars and vans park right up to the junction it means that when joining Carr Lane one has to creep fully out into the road to see, which has led to several near misses in the past (especially as cars go down Carr Lane at speed). Would it be possible to have double yellow lines at the junction to help ensure safety and visibility? A mirror of some kind on the lamppost opposite the junction would help too.

Parked car blocking vehicular access to Emily Street
17th May
There is a car (a white Citroen DS with a black roof, parked on an evening) that regularly parks blocking the entrance to the block paved access road to the front of Emily Street, meaning that there is no vehicular access to the properties on Emily Street. The car belongs to 5 Emily Street, the owner appears to believe that the block paved section of Emily Street is not designed for vehicles (and previously used to block access with plant pots), however the block paved section only has bollards at the other end outside number 10 and the end outside number 5 has a dropped kerb and a curved radius for vehicle access to the properties.

Deep pot hole
31st March
On high street south elmsall, almost at the juntion of mill lane (b6474) is a huge pot hole. It appears that highways are aware of this as it's been painted with a white box. However, whenever a heavy vehicle drops in the pothole, it shakes my whole house, to the point where cracks are appearing. Could someone please contact me and give me a timeframe as to when this will be resolved please.

Poor timings on traffic lights
28th March
If a few cars are on Barnsley road from the south elmsall side wanting to turn right on to Minsthorpe lane then the timings of the traffic lights can be troublesome. From the south elmsall side, cars turning right move in to the middle of the junction awaiting a gap in traffic from the South Kirkby end. At this point, only one car can be seen from Minsthorpe lane, any subsequent vehicles are obscured by the terraced houses on clock row. When these subsequent vehicles are obscured, they are already committed. If the lights then turn red, cars from the south Kirkby side stop, but there there isnt enough time for the ready committed cars to complete the manoeuvre before the lights turn green on Minsthorpe lane. At which point the Minsthorpe lane traffic moves off, straight in to the path of the already committed Barnsley road traffic. The timing sequence needs to be adjusted slightly to give extra time for the barnsley road traffic to finish the manoeuvre and turn right.
