24 Potholes along the odd numbered side to Denby Lane Crescent
8th March
This road receives very little repairs and is constantly full of potholes. Kirklees council always send a generic letter about how it carries out annual surveying and does throw a bag or two of tarmac in once in a blue moon. Because of the poor repairs they last about 2 months then they are back and are worse. I think I share a similar frustration that we pay direct tax from motoring via road tax and fuel which runs into billions yet very little proportionally is put into road maintenance.

200m stretch of potholes along Clough Road
11th March
This has been reported several times by me. Water runs out of the fields and streams down the road as there is no gutter. The frost has got in and there is a 200m run of holes. It is dangerous for motor cycle/ scooters and bikes. A simple remedy would be to scoop out a slot at the side of the road to take the water into the verge to soak away. It is a permanent problem here. The road is now a thorough mess through neglect.

Crumbling road surface and large potholes
7th April
The road surface is crumbling, very uneven and there are a few large potholes developing. These defects have slowly being getting worse for the past twelve months and mainly affect the side of the road heading away from the village of Emley. The only way to avoid them is by driving on the wrong side of the road.
