24 Potholes along the odd numbered side to Denby Lane Crescent
8th March
This road receives very little repairs and is constantly full of potholes. Kirklees council always send a generic letter about how it carries out annual surveying and does throw a bag or two of tarmac in once in a blue moon. Because of the poor repairs they last about 2 months then they are back and are worse. I think I share a similar frustration that we pay direct tax from motoring via road tax and fuel which runs into billions yet very little proportionally is put into road maintenance.

Road ruined
16th October
Entire road is pot holed, uneven and generally detrimental to the suspension of any vehicle travelling down it. The road needs proper surfacing with tarmac as it is a constant problem. Occasional temporary fixes have been carried out with flattening and filling in the holes but these measures never last more than a few days. I have lived on this street for 18 months, our neighbours for a lot longer, and the problem has been apparent for as long as they can remember.

2nd December
Within Flockton on A637 Barnsley Road just east of the traffic light controlled section, near Providential Street there is a 30mph repeater sign situated within the 30mph speed limit. Such signs are unlawful because the 30mph limit is evident by the presence of street lighting. You can see the sign at the following web address. http://goo.gl/vQ1KVQ

Very dangerous rut in carriageway
7th June
Possibly degradation of a badly filled pipe excavation this is a very deep rut (on the church side of the road - as the road bends) that would readily catch a bike/motorbike wheel. Difficult to see in this weather as you go from bright sun to tree shading which make the problem difficult to spot. All the more dangerous being very close to a school so presumably lots of children use this road.
