Exit slip closed
19th February
M1 J39 south exit slip was closed this evening as I tried to exit at about 22:30 due to roadworks. Absolutely nothing on the electronic signs, meaning a diversion to J38 and back up. If I had been warned, I would have exited at J40. Why are your control room staff so hideously incompetent? This happens time and time again. You have technology, please use it.
