More than 20 mins wait in the traffic lights
20th May
In the morning rush hours Most vehicles are lined up on soothil lane turn left ( Leeds side) , due to just one lane available for all 3 ways ( turn right, left and straight) , a huge traffic buildup, reason right turn vehicles has to wait until road clears. Suggestion: construct an additional lanes at the junction dedicate for L turn and one for R+ straight. Or else as an immediate remedy change the traffic lights with providing right turn option.

23rd March
At Swithenbank Street in Ossett, West Yorkshire, a large lorry has been parked on a small bridge for two days now. This situation appears to be a violation of local traffic and parking regulations, as the oversized vehicle is occupying a space that is not designed for such use.

This drain was unblocked a couple of years ago as I reported to the local MP. But was told afterwards the highways need to deal with this issue. There are drains on Heaton Avenue that flow towards crosspark street but as they are all blocked it backs up.

Wrong timing
29th August
The lights only let 2-3 vehicles through at a time causing a tail back for over 3/4 of a mile during rush hours times, without school traffic, It takes 20 mins to to get through on to Leeds /Dewsbury road. This started approx 2 weeks ago. The feed time on the lights needs to be extended from the Soothill lane lights. Kind regards
Kind regards

Drivers not following Highway Code
9th February
Vehicles are turning out of quarry lane give way junction with no regard for vehicles U turning at the relevant U turn point on the dual carriageway. The Highway Code states that as this is a give way junction then vehicles at the give way point should give way to traffic on the main road. Which they are not. Ive had several lorry type vehicles turn into me and nearly hit me because they do not understand the road laws or have any regard for vehicles already on the dual carriageway.

Parked on pavement
1st December
These cars and van are parked fully on the pavement, the van is on a corner making it hard to see on coming traffic , the road is narrow , the parking around here has got worse and worse, its about time it was monitored, a few of us on the street would like permit only parking ,to stop people just leaving there cars on our little cul-de-sac, the way the van and cars are parked would prevent emergency services getting passed , its the only entrance to our street . We have had letter sent to everyone over safe parking , but its not only our street people from up the road also park there , 1 familys adult children also park there even though they do not live there , sometime soon in this weather someone is going to get hurt
