The road is breaking up around a fire hydrant.
10th February
This break up around a fire hydrant is on a main road and is constantly exposed to heavy traffic. The current cold weather will make also make this worse, as water in the cracks freezes and expands. The traffic constantly going over the exposed fire hydrant could also damage the hydrant, potentially putting lives at risk if the hydrant is damage and the fire and rescue service need to use it.
