Please less cutting of grass in the graveyard - large areas could be left for nature- wildflowers and grasses..espcially at the bottom away from the abbey and entrance.
And all the cut grass left to make it worse for wildflowers and mowers- please no

Road surface erosion/potholes

This section of road was damaged in 2015 and continues to erode. It is at the back entrance to the Borders General Hospital in Melrose and is a hazard for cyclists and motorcyclists, particularly if turning right or in the middle of the road. There is also a further deterioration of the road at the side, in an area where cyclists will be forced to ride to avoid being knocked off by passing traffic, including buses
