This is a national speed limit road, one sign is covered over by vegetation, one other is leaning towards property making out of sight as you approach, and line painting is non-existent

Road signs and markings not visible
9th July
I have been marshaling at the festival of endurance event at the junction with the Wheatcheaf pub.
I have noticed a lot of issues with the junction as the road signs / furniture and markings are not clear and so cars coming from hever were thinking the road was straight on for them and was a give way.
On investigation the signs in both directions are obscured by trees.

B2027 double crossing of railway line

Although I'm not necessarily advocating for the construction of a new road, has any consideration ever been given to the B2017 being moved north of the railway line at Bough Beech (from TQ4887146872 to TQ4942746827). It would reduce traffic through that part of the village, and reduce the burden on the narrow bridge, tight corners and narrow sharp-turning underpass. There is a public footpath which crosses the railway line and then north and east beyond, this could be partially put on pavement, possibly also a footway link on pavement to the west at TQ4886546878. Just a thought really.

Tyres and fridge /freezer dumped yet again

Many tyres and fridge /freezer dumped and obstructing road. This happens here in roughly the same area every few months and has been going on for years. They are just getting away with it! When will it end? Same people probably responsible... Find them and jail them, throw away the key!!

Serious flytipping - TWO LOADS dropped
17th December
Yet again, more flytipping in this favourite spot for the utter scum who seem to continually get away with it, month after month, year after year. TWO large loads down this road found this morning. So depressing and such a shame as it's a picturesque spot but so badly blighted by this disgraceful crime on a REGULAR basis. More resources need to be put into catching those responsible and locking them up for a long time. Publicity/reward for information? CCTV? Forensics?... Whatever is being done now clearly isn't working and meanwhile, new fees introduced for all of us responsibly taking our waste to the tip... Makes me wonder if it will ever be stopped.

Fly-tipped commercial refrigerators still sitting proudly here after many weeks. This happens far too much here. Those responsible must be caught by any means necessary and made an example of. Wilderness Lane is getting battered and it's very sad.
