Trees bordering the west side of Park Lane are encroaching onto the highway

Cars are often parked on the East side of Park Lane. Large vehicles regularly use the road and the overgrown trees make it impossible for them to drive through without damage. Indeed sometimes large vehicles cannot get through at all. Part of the planning permission for 24A made it a condition that some of the trees should be trimmed or removed prior to occupation of the new dwelling. This never happened.

Large pothole getting worse

Pothole right in the tyre line which is getting deeper all the time. Some have been outlined in white on this road for a long time but no remedial action has yet been taken - not sure if this one is outlined or not.

Keep Streetlight on

Can i request that this street light is not switched off at night as its one of the only street lights at the top of curriers lane with decent brightness and when its turned off it leaves the top of curriers lane in darkness which is dangerous. All the other street lights down the road stay on so not sure why this particular one is switched off.

Temporary Lights for no reason

There have been temporary lights here for a week now closing one lane off however in that time there has been no work and no information as to what it's for and how long it's going to be there - Surely if nothing is happening they need to be removed?

Branches overgrown
blockin pathway.
Overgrown tree branches blocking pavement, pedestrians have to walk in road to get past. This and the hedge next to the tree were recently reported to you. Some guys came to do the job today and I received a text message to say it had been completed and the job was closed, alas when I walked up the road the job was half done, sorry. The hedge is not finished and the tree branches untouched.

4 foot long erosion

This was reported a few months back and logged as no action required, well now it's gone 4 times as big and the drain tarmac has also eroded away now, the ditch that's appeared i would say is 12 inches deep , 2 foot across and very dangerous, it needs urgent action to fill it in and repair around the drain.

Metal work protruding from pavement outside Finest Feet business premises in Park St, Shifnal. Serious tripping hazard to pedestrians and as it is metal it could cause serious injury. This has been there an awful long time and is not visible in the dark.

Trip hazard with previously reported drain cover
2nd May
The damaged drain cover outside Christopher's Restaurant in Market Place, Shifnal is a significant trip hazard. It has now been reported as an issue for several weeks. Whilst maintenance is being arranged by Shropshire Council, we request that this area is coned off for health and safety reasons. There is an event in the Town this coming weekend and a parade is planned for VE Day on 8th going down this way to the Church. Please can you arrange for this area to be made safe ASAP.
