Cleveland police passed national highways report of a waste barrel, A66 eastbound in layby prior to Elton turnoff. Member of public advised it was a blue and white striped barrel with letters FUCHS on it.
The laybys on the A66 are local authorities responsibilities and not national highway so needs to be passed to local council.

Drainage issues along the A66 between long newton and sadberge

There is drainage issues on the side of the A66 travelling towards Darlington. Between the long newton lay-by and the petrol station.
Water is bubbling from the ground and running into and subsequenrly flooding our livestock field. We suspect a broken drain or blocked drained.
The flooding is substantial damage to our field and causing issues with livestock.
