Parking on double yellow lines.
17th December
Trades people who are working on houses in Station Road are parking on double yellow lines which are intended as passing places as this two lane road has become a single lane two way road due to homeowners parking their cars. Even with a police station on the street, illegally parked cars are reluctant to move so that drivers using the road can pass safely.

Old road being resurfaced
12th June
Can not believe this road is being comprehensively re-surfaced.. WHY? There are hundreds if not thousands of potholes and badly maintained roads in Powys. Why has this one track mountain road got priority over all the badly in need of repair major roads?????

Blocked pavement
27th November
Some private works on two properties are being done, and the workman have taken over the pavement access by using it for their materials. Cement mixer, sand, tools, trailer, vehicles. The pavement is completely inaccessible with no attention to health and safety or those who might be disabled, vision impaired or who have young children. Others areas on the opposite side are usually blocked too, either by vehicles or driveway gates being left wide open onto the pavement. The pavement in many places is being rendered unsafe and impassable.

Blocking drop kerb
9th April
At the end of this part of Maescynog where the bungalows are there is a turning circle and dropped kerb. These keep being blocked for long periods of time by people using it as a parking space for their trips into town or even when they go to work. There needs to be a clear no parking sign facing them as they drive up. Hopefully this will be done soon as to not cause more obstruction and inconvenience to those who are not able-bodied.

Footpath hazzard
7th January
I see there have been previous reports submitted regarding black refuse bins being left on the pavement, and it is still a problem. I walked into 2 bins while walking home Tuesday evening as I didn't see them in the dark as I have a visual impairment, knocking one over and having to pick up all their smelly bags that were obviously full of mixed waste, including recycling! As a disabled person I shouldn't have to navigate my way down a footpath maneuvering between bins and parked vehicles. Are pavements not for pedestrians? Can we please sort this, and perhaps pass a message to the community police, who we don't have direct contact with anymore as the police station is closed, and ask them to sort out the pavement parkers. Thank you very much.

No lights
5th January
There are no lights lighting the footpath between Llanfairs and Heol James. And along to the next footpath that leads to the chameleon cafe and entrance to diamond Park there are 5 lights out, so it's completely unlit for nearly all of it. This is not safe for females walking alone.
