Pavement adjacent to the Stotfold Road
4th June
Over-hanging branches & low hanging branches have grown into thd pavement causing a danger to children cycling to school. This has reduced the width of the pavement and causing children to cycle too close to the kerb. This could cause children to swerve into the road in-front of traffic or for bikes to slip into the road. This is a serious concern and could result in a direct collision between a child on a bike and a car travelling at 30mph. This is absolutely urgent and vital to trim the hedge back to prevent an accident or fatality involving children travelling to and from school from Fairfield Park SG5.

Corner of Kingsway and Trinity Road (approx 10m from phone cable post)
3rd June
A few years ago wooden posts were put into the grass verge to prevent cars being parked along the verge/footpath and endangering path users as well as churning up the grass/verge especially in autumn/winter months or heavy rainfalls. One of these wooden posts has been removed and cars are again being parking across the verge/pathway causing a danger to users. Due to the lack of parking spaces this happens all along the Trinity Road verge on the same side up to where it meets the junction with Vaughan Road. In the absence of more parking being available/created, please can the removed post be replaced and/or further posts installed to ensure path user safety and the upkeep of the grass verge.

The branches of the tree are overhanging the footpath and are now dangling down and causing pedestrians to have to dodge the branches - it is becoming dangerous. The roots of this tree are also increasing onto my property (flower beds) This tree is in need of TLC. Its branches are also well overhanging the highway.

The drain cover and surrounding block paving is subsiding. Cars are normally parked on the opposite side of the road meaning traffic driving in & out of Weavers Orchard drive straight over this causing a load noise every time. Also as there are no paved footpaths people have to walk in the road so this is also a trip hazard.
This was reported a number of times a few months ago & recently repaired & closed but the repair hasn't lasted long as the issue is now back.

Large tree on the public footpath from hitchin Road towards Etonbury Woods
27th May
Good morning,
We have had a report of a large bough that has been sheered from a large tree of the public footpath from Hitchin Road towards Etonbury Woods. The resident has let us know that there are some parts of the bough still attached to the tree and debris from the tree on the path.
The What3Words location is: https://w3w.co/just.section.slimming
We would greatly appreciate if someone could come out to assess and maintain this please.
Kind regards, STC

The fencing here and the gate to the emergency access road has long needed repair or replacement. I have previously reported some fencing that has fallen down, but over the weekend the gate to the emergency access road has come off its hinges. One post is completely rotten and the bottom hinge will no longer hold the gate. I consider both these problems as urgent as they are dangerous to the public, with a heavy gate and sharp (splintered) wood fencing. Part of the fence was knocked over when a car drove through it (around 10 years ago) and was never replaced. The triangle of land behind this area is owned by Central Beds Council and they recently put a wheel on the gate to assist with opening. This has now broken off.

The pavements and dropped kerb area has disintegrated and will cause damage to vehicles if they arent treated. This is due to vehicles whom use their driveways here and due to lazy people who fail to use their driveways turning circle 10m further down the road.
