Pavement adjacent to the Stotfold Road
4th June
Over-hanging branches & low hanging branches have grown into thd pavement causing a danger to children cycling to school. This has reduced the width of the pavement and causing children to cycle too close to the kerb. This could cause children to swerve into the road in-front of traffic or for bikes to slip into the road. This is a serious concern and could result in a direct collision between a child on a bike and a car travelling at 30mph. This is absolutely urgent and vital to trim the hedge back to prevent an accident or fatality involving children travelling to and from school from Fairfield Park SG5.

Corner of Kingsway and Trinity Road (approx 10m from phone cable post)
3rd June
A few years ago wooden posts were put into the grass verge to prevent cars being parked along the verge/footpath and endangering path users as well as churning up the grass/verge especially in autumn/winter months or heavy rainfalls. One of these wooden posts has been removed and cars are again being parking across the verge/pathway causing a danger to users. Due to the lack of parking spaces this happens all along the Trinity Road verge on the same side up to where it meets the junction with Vaughan Road. In the absence of more parking being available/created, please can the removed post be replaced and/or further posts installed to ensure path user safety and the upkeep of the grass verge.

The pavements and dropped kerb area has disintegrated and will cause damage to vehicles if they arent treated. This is due to vehicles whom use their driveways here and due to lazy people who fail to use their driveways turning circle 10m further down the road.

Outside number 10 Norton Road
21st May
Good afternoon,
We have had a resident report that there is an overgrown tree outside her house. This tree is blocking the signage for Baldock and is completely obstructing her view as she pulls out of her drive. Please can this be assessed and maintained.
The photo I attached is a google maps image from 2024 which clearly shows that the signage is blocked. This is now much more overgrown and has become dangerous.
Kind regards,
STC

Outside 33 Hillary Rise Arlesey in middle of road halfway down cul de sac

The position of the pothole ( as you can see in photo) is where my mums disability car is parked, mum is both house bound and has rheumatoid arthritis and a fractured spine, and needs a walking aid and help walking to car. Where the pothole is it is difficult to move and park her mobility car to take her to numerous hospital/ Dr appointments.I have recently reported this the last few months twice but the next day received email saying it has been checked ( which definitely hasnt as I requested the inspector to knock at my door No 14 opposite side of road but no one came), which has got deeper and longer. Please could someone actually come out and see the dept n size and how difficult it is to move and park mums car). This issue has been an on going problem for a couple of years, as it get temporary filled but last couple of months as road is used daily by all residents of the cul de sac to either drive down or drive up cul de sac to get out of Hillary Rise.
