None collection of mixed waste recycling

I am writing to formally complain about the persistent failure to collect mixed recycling from the communal bins at Oughton Court, John Barker Place, SG5 2ER. Despite repeated attempts to contact North Herts Council regarding this issue, there has been no confirmation of when the collection will take place, nor any resolution to this ongoing problem. As a direct consequence of the prolonged non-collection, the unemptied recycling bins have become a significant nuisance. They are now emitting an unpleasant odour and attracting flies, which is causing considerable distress and potential health concerns for residents in this area. I urge you to investigate this matter as a priority and ensure that the mixed recycling is collected from Oughton Court immediately. I also request confirmation of the steps being taken to prevent such prolonged delays in the future. Please contact me at your earliest convenience to confirm receipt of this complaint and outline the actions you will take. Thank you for your urgent attention to this matter.

Dangerous junction

I just nearly had a head on collision on A505 as a car dangerously drove across from Carters Lane in front of a vehicle on that side of the carriageway, that vehicle then had to evasively drive on the wrong side of the dual carriageway, coming through the gap in the carriageway from the opposite direction to avoid them. They then drove at me going towards Luton in the fast lane and I had to take evasive action to avoid them and the car I was overtaking. Luckily nobody seemed hurt or died but this is the second incident of this nature in six months that Ive experienced by poor driving which has prompted me to report this junction for review. Please can you address this.

Vehicles parking in the bus stop

Good morning, I work for arrivals road safety department, I'm writing to make you aware of a constant issue we are having especially after 6pm where we are finding ourself parking in compromising positions due to multiple vehicles being parked in the bus stop, if I recall the civil enforcement officer team for welwyn Hatfield only work until 6:30pm is there anything you can do to deter car drivers from parking in here, as you can respect we have a lot of elderly or otherwise vulnerable members of public who rely on our services and we need the support here. If you could get back to me I'd appreciate it .

Two week old flytipping pile

This was reported over two weeks ago. The flytip pile/ rubbish is still there and needs collecting.

When and why has the arcade been designated as a smoking area

Historically, the arcade was a non-smoking area, with signs displayed at both ends. Since the redecoration a few years ago, the signs have been removed. Now, with a licenced pub within the arcade, ash trays are being provided.
Surely this is in contravention to UK legislation? The arcade is a roofed area with openings that are significantly less than 50% of the walled area. It is also a public space and a place of work.

Drains not cleaned/cleared

Drains on Swinburne Ave cleared and cleaned today except for the cul d sacs which are part of Swinburne Ave You will see from the picture that the drain on our driveway at 42 Swinburne floods, this is every time it rains As well as getting closer to our garage door there is a fire hydrant on the drive which has to have an engineer to fix it every time it rains, surely its more expensive to fix the fire hydrant than clear the drain and I will also be reporting this to the fire service Please just come and clear the drain before there is a problem
