Bridleway gate on land between Council land and the meadow used to graze sheep(behind Chequers Public House)
1st May
The bridleway gate is inappropriate. It is not the most appropriate bridleway gate, does not open fully and the springs are too strong. I had an accident at the weekend whilst passing through the gate on a horse, resulting in a visit to hospital. Please can this situation be recitifed to a more horse rider friendly gate appropriate for a bridleway.

In recent weeks and years, numerous cars involved in road traffic incidents at this S bend. 60mph speed limit with S bend and no warnings of SLOW or crash barriers. Something needs to be improved on this corner to increase driver awareness that the corner should not be taken at 60mph.

High Street
Church Lane junction. BT exchange
There is a drain that is covered by foliage, mud and leaves. The verges are overgrown into the road and the drain has disappeared under them. It is constantly causing a flood across the High Street. It has become hazardous during the icy weather. The verge needs reinstating, and the drain cleaning.

Public bin to the left of the chequers pub
10th February
Morning. I reported fly tipping in the village on Friday. It all started blowing up the street so I went over and rebagged it all into black bin liners. No one has collected it. The bin men have even gone through! Since then, clearly the same person has dumped more household rubbish. Its exactly the same rubbish bags. This must have happened overnight 9/10th feb. There is an address of the person whos dumped it on one of the boxes as pictured. Please can this be removed and also this person be held accountable. Lucy Girling clearly thinks ok to drive from Royston and dump her crap
