The Weather Today
Good morning! Today in the East Midlands, we're looking at a fairly mixed bag. Expect a cloudy start, with some brighter spells developing as we move into the late morning and early afternoon. Temperatures will be quite mild, reaching highs of around 16 degrees. The wind will be gentle, coming in from the southwest, so it shouldn't feel too blustery out there
Later in the day, there's a chance we could see some light rain showers, but these should clear up by the evening, leaving us with some clearer skies overnight.
. 3-Day Forecast
Looking ahead, tomorrow is expected to start off dry with a few sunny intervals, and temperatures will climb to around 17 degrees. By the afternoon, cloud cover will increase, leading to a wet spell in the late afternoon and evening, with light to moderate rain expected.
On day two, we'll see a continuation of the unsettled weather with showers on and off throughout the day, particularly concentrated in the late morning and early afternoon. Highs will be near 15 degrees, with a noticeable northwesterly breeze making it feel a bit cooler.
And for day three, conditions will improve slightly. While the morning might start off a bit grey, the clouds should break up by lunchtime to give us some sunny periods
Highs will be around 18 degrees, and the wind will ease off, making it a more pleasant day to be out and about.
