The two white wooden gates on the verge are rotten and one is close to collapse. Whilst these are not critical they do indicate to drivers they are entering a built up area. They were installed by CBC and therefore should maintained or repaired. The one on the west side has nearly fallen down.

Pavement outside 113 Church Street
16th April
The pavement outside 113 Church Street, and in particular outside the driveway is disintegrating. It hasn't been resurfaced for over 20 years. Children passing to go to the school, kick at the loose tarmac and are creating larger holes. The resident of 113 Church Street is registered disabled and it isn't possible to move her wheel chair along the pavement outside her house. As a consequence, she prefers to stay at home.

Junction of High Street (side road) and Cambridge Road
16th April
Heavy rain caused flooding on the road, almost rising to the level of house front doors. Front garden was completely flooded and had it rained for a 30 minutes, the water level would have reached the seals on front doors. It appears that drains are failing to remove water quickly enough, and neighbours have advised this has been a problem for a while.

This pothole is very large and causes cars to swerve to avoid it which is very dangerous as it is on the brow of the hump back bridge. It is constantly being repaired and coming back again.
