On this section of the walk ed (see map). At the road
cross straight ahead to Old Warden railway tunnel. Continue on the waymarked track that becomes a grassed headland before joining the lane immediately north of Sweetbrier Farm. Turn left and follow the yew hedged lane before taking the second footpath on the right.
My friend and walk this path frequently and everytime we have been in this bit of the footpath the sign is knocked over and not in the right place. We have walked on the wrong side of the hedge. We are not sure how it get taken out but it is confusing bit of the footpath and should not be tampered with

Sign to advise of sharp bend - on A600 - near to private drive for lodge/property
21st April
I reported this months ago and was assured it would be dealt with - but the sign is still obstructed by foliage and it is getting worse, especially now that we are in the spring. The sign is covered with a lot of foliage and is not clearly visible. It is a 'sharp bend' sign and the black and white markings should surely be really clear to warn of the bend - not be obstructed by the hedgerow/foliage growing in front of it. If someone doesn't know the road and the bends in that area it could be dangerous if they can't see the sign. Please can this be investigated.

Huge and very deep pothole - potentially lethal to anyone travelling on two wheels, especially after dark. It's so deep that it is surrounded by what can only be described as rubble. I don't know how long it has been there as this was the first time I've cycled along there in several weeks. The scale of the hole suggests that it has been there some time.

On left hand side of road heading to Old Warden north of Gastlings just before bend in road.
1st March
There is a large and deep pothole which is getting bigger each day and difficult to avoid if oncoming traffic. I understand it has already damaged vehicles.

At the bottom end of Bedford Road
opposite the Southill Turn and close to the Post box.
The sign indicating Bedford Road is becoming overgrown with brambles.
More importantly, the remains of the old sign are still there and comprise much twisted and sharp.metal. This is unsightly and could be a killer if a pedestrian or cyclist fell onto it. The previous sign was demolished during hedge cutting by the Parish Council.

Opposite Warren Lodge
The Village
The street sign indicating the name of the road - The Village - has been missing since early April 2024 since being knocked down by a hedge cutter working for the Parish Council.
The yellow fire hydrant sign opposite Jacob's Well was also knocked down at the same time and is still awaiting replacement. This was a little further along during the same hedge cutting work by the Parish Council. An important sign if there is a fire, it needs to be there.
