Huge potholes and road edges "trenches'
4th July
Huge potholes run the whole section of the lower part of Old Sslisbury Lane up to Roje Manor. This road is skin to a dirt track in terms of damage to springs and dyspensions. Additionally, passing other vehicles treacherous as road edges washed away and trenches are potential for grounding the underside if the vehicle as you attempt to squeeze past each other. Road needs schedule of major repairs as used by larger vehicles as shortcut from Shootash avoiding Ronsey traffic hold ups, as well as traffic requiring access to premises - work and home addresses.

Huge potholes and roadside collapse
12th August
Deterioration of huge potholes present for a considerable time abd collapse of road edges the whole length of this section is an absolute disgrace. The road is used as a by-pass from Shootash to the A3057 to avoid Romsey. Road work urgently required along Old Salisbury Lane, Romsey.

Poorly maintained Test Way Footpath
11th July
Path completely overgrown with nettles and brambles. Path surface disintegrated and on a steep angle. All paths, stiles and fences from here for about 1 to 1.5Km unkempt. Rusty barbed wire in dangerous positions, fallen tree boughs, unstable stiles. Complete overhaul would be appreciated, especially as this is a trail that is contributing to economic development.

Very damaging pothole
7th June
This pot-hole has been increasing in size with the significant traffic usage, It is deep and of significant area such that most vehicles hit this hole whilst travelling at about 25 to 30 mph. I am sure it would damage the chassis of some smaller cars and vans. Please attend to this soon as a number of motorcycles use this road and if they hit this hole it might well cause a serious accident. Thank you.

A water company stopcock cover has been displaced and left a large pothole in the road, also the nearby manhole cover is begining to show signs of coming loose.

Recent Roadworks damaged the road

In October, contracted roadworks carried out some work here for a couple of weeks. Now a several inch deep hole across the middle of the road has emerged. This needs rectifying before vehicles get severely damaged.

Deep pothole in edge of Coombe Lane
19th July
This pothole has got progressively worse over the last few weeks and I have recently punctured a brand new tyre in it and had to replace the tyre. As it had not been reported I was unable to make a claim, but would claim if it happened again now that it has been reported. The pothole is under shady trees so is not obvious until you have hit it.
