Dangerous parking
4th April
People keep stopping/waiting/parking on the roadside, out of any lay-bys, right at the junction between Langton Road and the main road. This forces cars approaching the junction onto the other side of the road so often you end up head-on to vehicles coming the opposite direction. Its very dangerous as cars try to exit/enter the main road and end up facing another car trying to exit/enter and nobody has anywhere to go.

There is a pothole in the centre of the road, going downhill, just before the speed calming chicane.
I hit this on my bike yesterday coming down the hill and how I managed not to fall off I don't know, but it's dangerous for cyclists as it's in the line they take coming down the hill.

Approaching bishops waltham from colden common, on the winchester road b2177, at the start of the residential area, there is a lane marked in yellow on this map that goes off to the left and marked unsuitable for hgv's. several hundred yards up this narrow lane is a pile of fly tipped house hold appliances and other rubbish.

Narrow footpath on Winchester Road

The footpath just east of Pine Lea is very narrow (<1m) and makes walking this section dangerous with close passing traffic.
One part has significant overhanging hedge and needs siding out, a few metres further east, just before the 30mph limit, there is significant debris from a tree removal several weeks ago.

Dangerous parking

Multiple vehicles frequently parking on bend around entrance of close. Obscure vision and make entry and exit to the street very dangerous. Near collision yesterday with van driving at speed into street. Road would be better as permit only and also to have double yellow lines around Bend at entrance of close.

Bridleway impassible

The bridleway from Cleverly Cottages to the Hangers is impassible due to overgrown vegetation. For the walker it involves crossing and recrossing the barbed wire onto private land. The vegetation is shoulder high when access to the right of way is possible.

Absolutely disgusting weed growth in parking bay

This clearly has not been done for a long while, the weeds in this area are almost as tall as the cars parked in the lay-by!! Some of the cars do not appear to have been used for a while either!!

Trees and bushes need cutting back once again along the whole length of pathway

A number of tree limbs and bushes need cutting back along this section. I had to limbo underneath a number of bushes today. The whole section from the roundabout into town upto the entrance of station road (entrance to BW Palace) needs pruning and cutting back
