Old Chirk Rd outside primary school Weston Rhyn
5th May
I note numerous reports of pot holes and road surface issues which recently have seen some temporary repairs. However, vast majority of these have been left to include the deepest pothole (potholes filled either side). I can only describe this as a botch job as road is still in very poor state of repair. Would welcome Highways Supervisor from Shropshire Council to attend the scene and confirm further work is still required to include complete resurface of area.

Multiple potholes along this stretch have now gone down to the sub base, there are 5 that are 100mm deep. this needs sorting as the sub base is flicking out onto the adjacent footways as heavy vehicles drive over them. this is also dangerous as drivers of cars slalom along the road to avoid them in front of the primary school. who at the highways will take responsibility when someone gets ran over?
