Timing on traffic lights
24th April
The timings have been changed allowing greater priority for cars leaving Barnsley. Cars leaving the M1 south and heading into Barnsley are stuck for a long time waiting for the lights controlling cars leaving Barnsley to turn red. It only allows 1-2 cars through at each run as cars end up blocking the road. The timings are not setup correctly to allow the traffic to flow efficiently at all. Took me 5 minutes to get through the lights today!

Parking right by busy junction
12th February
I live on Grosvenor Walk, and I am concerned about the parking situation near the junction with Dodworth Road. Staff from Horizon School regularly park their cars in this area, significantly reducing visibility for drivers exiting the estate. This creates a serious safety hazard, and I have personally witnessed several near accidents as a result.
As per the Highway Code, vehicles should not be parked within 10 metres of a junction to ensure clear sightlines for all road users. I urge the relevant authorities to address this issue before a serious accident occurs.

Lack of filter traffic light makes junction dangerous
7th February
Vehicles turning right off A6133 onto B6099 Keresforth Hill Road are forced to make dangerous manoeuvres due to a very high traffic load even at off peak times. A right turn filter light on traffic lights for vehicles exiting would prevent crashes, of which there have been several in the last 6 months.
