Parking over our driveway
23rd April
Most days we have some parking over the drive ways because of the club and businesses up the road, especially on Saturdays and Sundays too when the football club has matches, the cars can be there for hours / sometimes most of the day. This has been happening for years and has seemed to get worse, when we want to go out sometimes we cannot even get off the driveway and it is unsafe when 2 cars are either side and were pulling out onto a busy main road, we need no parking signs or resident only signs to be put up or at least the parking bays infront of our driveways to be marked as no parking

Useless road layout

Recently, the lanes for each exit have changed. People are still using the old layout rather than the new one. More needs to be done so people know which lane is for which exit. Nearly having my car written off is a daily occurrence. Someone will be killed sooner rather than later unless something is done!!

Not many people seem to understand the lame priorities have changed This may be that its used by a wide number of commuters who do not know the local area names A signpost with arrows, or arrows on the road would make this roundabout easier to understand and therefore safer for all users

So many people are using the left lane to take the third exit as they think its classed as straight over. The road layout has changed temporary signs are not adequate in any way and the road numbers painted onto the road are not clear in heavy traffic and also not clear if you do not know the road number of the road you are travelling down. I drive this way daily with my young son in the car and have had so many near misses due to drivers in the left lane thinking they are in the correct lane.

Car illegally parked

Car has been illegally parked and not moved in over a week it is fully on the pavement and causing obstruction for pedestrians. This car was originally parked the opposite side of the road and was given a parking ticket and was abandoned in place for over a month but has now since just moved to the opposite side of the road causing more problems.

New directions

These new directions are ridiculous Multiple times from most of our drivers at Aldi Rdc goldthorpe have experienced near misses RTA because you expect all traffic continuing straight on to take the right hand lane When from a HGV point we will always take near side lane This decision on these road markings is only going to end badly This is constantly causes road rage towards our driver's as cars ect take nearside lane and then don't realise that us in 38 ton truck are merging into them as they are taking nearside lane to go straight on They are in the correct lane and the righthand lane is not Never will be These markings need removing ASAP before someone gets seriously hurt

Urgent road repairs over service areas

Due to heavy machine used in the repairs of major walls that fell on pathways and the B6089 Packman road between Packman way and Brampton way .there are now several areas that have been damaged and in my opinion this whole area now needs re surface,not patching up as in the past and I believe that Council should have with hindsight claimed for when claiming for the major work that as already carried out

Accident where car in right lane was turning left and car in left was going straight on. No roadmarkings to acertain who is right soo insurance marking it as 50/50. Had roadmarkings or signs been visible, it would have been clear who was in the wrong.
