Mill Lane flooded again 20/2/22 from Ashover Road junction towards Bateman’s Mill Hotel.

This road keeps flooding after moderate or heavy rainfall due to inadequate drainage facilities. The excess water then penetrates under the stone boundary wall of Brookfield Park causing severe flooding of private gardens and mobile homes. We have been suffering these floods for over four years. The Council is already well aware of this problem but no progress seems to have been made yet to solve it! My last enquiry said they were still considering the matter!!

Complete road has incidents of tge Road being covered in grit and sludge from rain. I almost lost control of my motorbike on it. Extremely dangerous. Both wheels slid from under me. Urgent attention needed.

The footpath to the rear of Manor farm is not passable the signs at the top of the farm drive have clearly been altered to make walkers pass round other than through the farm drive. The path has been used to store silage and the farmer is rather put out when you stop to oook for alterteratives.

Despite assurance response emails from North East Derbyshire District Council, stating that a team would be sent [twice, same guff] NOTHING whatsoever has been done about this mess. In fact it is being ADDED to, probably because others now think it is a legitimate dumping spot. Very poor indeed.

The Fly Tipping Reported Hera Ha NOT Been Dealt With!
7th July
I reported fly tipping at the entrance to the disused quarry several weeks ago. I had a 'response' email from North Derbyshire Council saying it was being dealt with. However NOTHING has changed. Nobody has cleared anything, the bin bags and broken furniture etc ALL remain unchanged.

New Flytipping of household rubbish
20th May
Midnight last night witnessed an estate car driving slowly along the road, car stopped for around five minutes and doors plus boot heard being opened. This morning we found a large pile of rubbish, bin bags and boxes, thrown into the edge of the woods on the side of the road. Left side of the road if pointing towards Bole Hill Farm.
