No footpath

The trees are so overgrown here and around the corner that the footpath is starting to become quite restrictive, when walking with a pram. There is also quite often a car parked here and I have to go on the road.

500m+ of one big pot hole
26th March
2 sections of the A628 from Silkstone towards the Hoylandswaine roundabout (junction with A629) have been resurfaced over the last 3-4 years. However, These 2 areas were not the worst condition. The 500m approach to the roundabout, around the roundabout & a bit in each direction off the roundabout are in appalling condition, with rips / scars from joins in prov re surfacing works, full depth of the wearing course, as well as hundreds of pot holes. Now after the last lot of resurfacing which stopped about 750m from the roundabout last year, the contractors did start to pour liquid bitumen into the scars / rips beyond the resurfaced road, but quickly ran out of tar due to the vast number of issues. Please make sure the above worst section of road is resurfaced in this financial year. Hopefully it planned for April or May. There are 2 other bad sections of the A628. One at Silkstone, where Barnsley road joins the A628, again the Cway has ripped at the joins near full depth of wearing course, & the other is neat the next bend in the A628 where Fall head Lane comes out on to the A628. Here may need a resurface, as there are many full depth potholes / rips near the middle of the road & off the kerb line, which may also show signs of slipping.
