Unstable SW water manhole cover at final fork Road in Knight Close

This manhole cover is unstable and has been getting progressively worse over the last 3 weeks. One side of the cover has been pushed down (presumably from cars driving over it), which is pushing the other side up and dislodging the bricks surrounding it. Although the photo shows this it looks worse in real life. As its at a fork in the road its hard to avoid driving over at least part of it when turning the corner.

A very bumpy ride on the first third of this lane and a very uncomfortable commute for what is an arterial route out of Haywards Heath. There are quite a few accidents on this road. Please can these be checked.

Cars parked in the middle of the road daily

During school drop off and pick up times, cars habitually park in the middle of the right hand lane despite spaces in the lay-by or blocking in cars parked in the lay-by. This brings traffic to a standstill whilst parents queue to enter the schools pick up zone and traffic isnt able to pass during the voluntary one-way system implemented by the school. This contributes to daily gridlock and limits visibility for pedestrians and drivers increasing risks to all.

Street lights not working on Gander Hill

There are several street lamps that are not working on Gander Hill between the entrance to Summerhill Close and the roundabout with Portsmouth Lane meaning there are patches where its pitch black even at 5pm. Its very difficult for pedestrians to see or be seen in the evenings and feels very unsafe to walk along.
