Not sure how long it's been there but can't have formed overnight. Very lucky not to burst a tyre. Very craggy and uneven and is on a passing point so high risk. Road itself is a dangerous place to burst a tyre as lots of bends and not much space to get out of the way. May be a little further up the road but definitely on a passing point

Since the hedge has been trimmed back, there is a tree right on the blind bend which is now leaning at a 40degree angle across the road. Looks like whatever had been supporting it may have been removed when the hedge was recently cut back. The lean has got significantly worse over the course of this week.

Overkill of cones causing a 5 mile tailback

A4 traffic backed up eastbound for at least 5 miles due to over zealous closing of lanes on the Theale roundabout. Of course there is zero work being carried out and of course no work needs doing. No personnel present, mayhem and huge delays for drivers. Cones may be removed shortly due to the pointless nature of their presence. Emergency services inc Ambulances are being blocked causing a risk to life.
