Complete collapse of road surface .

I took over 20 photographs 2 or more years ago and little or nothing has been done since. This is a bus route and an important link between Henley Rd and Lower Caversham. It is in need of comprehensive full resurfacing . At present it is dangerous especially for cyclists and is not fit for purpose.

Road resurfacing

Rossendale Road and Mayfield Drive underwent a total road resurfacing programme at the end of February 2025. It has become apparent after a number of holes have broken through the top layer that current evidence is that a lot more will appear, its only been two months and the resurfacing work is likely to prove not fit for purpose !

This junction has got so bad it is impossible for two wheeled vehicles to turn right into caversham park road without risk of coming off. Please fix this before some motorcyclist comes off. This must have been a higher priority than the resurfacing of caversham park road further down. Please fix ASAP
