Dropped Kerb omitted
29th May
At Station Rd end of the road at the first junction on the left there is a dropped kerb on one side but it the other. This requires a wheelchair to travel about 250m in the road up to 82A then use a garage dropped kerb to get on the footway Returning from 82A you cannot cross to Station Road as no dk but must take the footway on the right by the flats about 20m to a small garage dk. & cross over there & then return the way you have come

Missing Kerb Drop
29th May
At the junction of Goose Green with Great Sheldons Coppice there is a kerb drop on only one side of Goose Green but not on the other. Particularly hazardous as the absence pushes a wheelchair user down Goose Green to the house dropped kerb and then into the road where you have to stay down to the T junction as no dk available opposite. A number of vehicles use this road

Overgrown verges and left tree cuttings
24th May
The verge near the crooked billet turning has become overgrown and is now a safely issue as you cannot clearly see up the road from the junction just before the pub. Some cars speed on this section of the road as they leave the village and there have been near misses where the car coming down the road cannot be seen until it is too late. With the addition of the playpark there are also more children around and more cars coming out of the car park. Please can you cut back the vegetation and remove the debris. This has been getting worse for the last 3 years.

Rubbish left on road
19th May
Bag of rubber granules obviously fallen off a vehicle and the normal sandbag HCC highways leave scattered around the area once temporary road signs are collected and the sandbags left dumped, one wonders what highways has against said sandbags? Anyhow they need removing, with the HCC Highway compound visible and the amount of workers that pass this is an embarrassment, keep Hook tidy! Especially around Hampshire works compound and junction 5, take one crew an hour only to tidy up the mess on the entrance to the village, come on HCC have some pride

Tree blocking footway
dangerous for wheelchairs
This tree is outside the house called Sillwood on the A30 side of Dorchester Rd. Wheelchair access is on one side only, is too narrow and the footway is grossly uneven making use dangerous for wheelchair users. In my view it needs to be removed, there is no environmental impact as there are many of these trees in the road. A similar tree has been removed in Elms road
