This vehicle, which belongs to the owner of the PAPERBOX shop parks on this pedestrianised street daily. He puts his hazards on and usually leaves his rear door open to make it look like he is unloading.. but he isnt. It is extremely annoying seeing this vehicle here on a daily basis as this area is "No vehicles after 10am, and before 10am is just for loading/unloading etc)

Parked in disabled bay and don't have blue badges
9th May
I was parked waiting for a family member to finish parking, I saw a car pull up in another disabled bay with 2 women in it. The older lady Said we can't park here we don't have badges, the younger woman replyied, it doesn't matter, if anyone days anything just day we forgot them and you have a bad back, not all disabilities are visible. The older lady was very unsure buy got over ruled. As a blue badge owner it makes my blood boil when people do this. Surely there must be a fine or something for people who do this.

Abandoned and untaxed no mot or insurance
23rd April
This vehicle has been abandoned here for over 12 months. Since last march. never moved an inch. Reported to police numerous times and the DVLA and council. Its Parked half on pavement 4 flat tyres untaxed since 1 st April 2025 . It now at last had a note put on it by Sefton council on 10 th April. to be removed on the 15 th April at 12 o clock surprise its still sat there . Absolutely discussed with no one doing anything about it. Mot ran out in September. Is this what we pay our council tax for. Its caused us all problems with our parking for over 12 months. And its a eysaw.

Dumped car for over 12 months
1st April
This car has been dumped for over a year now half on the pavement No mot since last September. No insurance. And no tax now. Been reported to police several times in the last year. Also the council and on here. We as residents are fed up of seeing it now and no one is doing anything about it. Its 100 % illegal and dangerous and needs removed asap. It has 4 flat tyres and is causing problems with residents parking.

Illegal parking
10th February
Once again, whilst walking my dog, I have to avoid cars, some with open doors, parked on double yellow lines across pavements on Althorpe Drive. Pavements here are now a trip hazard due to cars breaking them every weekday at school times. It is only a matter of time before a serious accident happens here.

Car dumped for nearly 12 months

This car has been sat half on the pavement since march 2024 reported to police 4 times and council twice. Its never moved its tyres are flat and car is full of rubbish. Its a eyesaw its not insured and Mot ran out last September Police said it has no registered keeper for them to get in touch with. ???

Road in disrepair and in need of attention

A sub-contracted company came and did some road repairs last year,but it was only patched up,and now the road surface is deteriorating again,the whole cul de sac should have been resurfaced,as I have lived here since March 1984,and the council have done repairs to the main road,from Norwood Road up to Dodsworth Ave, and then from Forest Road up to Scarisbrick New Road,but inbetween that the surface is in need of repair,including our cul de sac....
