Roadwork signage
5th August
The roadwork signage remains in place telling traffic to merge into the two outside lanes. The road works however have been lifted. This is slowing traffic down and causing congestion from J32.

Hi, there are a series of adverts, many for a plant nursery/cafe, at or around this road junction (Station Lane/A6 Preston-Lancaster Road). Many have been there for some months now. Can they be removed please.

A big hole is now causing problems particularly with trailers which bounce when passing. Yesterday some material came out of a trailer and just missed my grandson when we were walking home. The area just over the canal bridge and on top of the bridge is in poor condition. Repair work is greatly needed. There should also be a consideration to ban large vehicles down this narrow lane. They are destroying the lane in many ways.
15th April
As above comments.

Persistent dog fouling in St Peter's Church Field by local resident in Scorton who is abusive when challenged. Do not approach this person.
15th May
Almost all of our local residents are responsible dog owners who enjoy the lovely field that belongs to St Peter's Church in Scorton. They are very welcome to walk their dogs and do not have to keep to the footpath provided that they clean up after their dogs. As is always the case there two or three residents who persistently refuse the clean up. One in particular has been regularly abusive and aggressive and when challenged. He should not be approached. There have been cases of the children getting dog foul on their shoes on their way from school to church for their daily act of school worship. The dog mess ends up in church or in the school playground.

Pothole on the approach to the canal bridge coming from the A6 this is causing vehicles to loose material falling potentially into the road and also adjacent property.
24th April
This pothole is getting bigger and deeper. There are also others approaching the canal bridge. I would suggest the sooner it is repaired the lower the cost.
