Surface issues
The road surface is a hazard for people on pushbikes and also driving cars as it is bumpy when turning and just is in need of resurfacing on this junction which has been done many times but still it is in a poor state.

Large pothole and degrading trench opposite 13 Bridge Street.
2nd April
These defects have been in existence for some time. The trench across the road is degrading quickly. When some heavy vehicles cross the trench or hit the pothole it causes the whole house to shake (13 Bridge Street). We have already had to repair cracks forming between the bottom of the house external wall and the pavement.

Public right of way - a mess
28th March
This is a lane which is a public right of way. It has deep ruts, overgrown hedges and is in need of being levelled and cut back. This always use to be a nice lane to walk but its just a mess now and it needs attention by the land owners.

Hole - reveals some cabling underneath.
24th March
This hole in the ground is approximately 3-4 cm wide and about 20-25 cm long. The crack is deeper than 10 cm. Due to the location near the doctor surgery, there will be people from all walks of life, and with potential disabilities/frailty/gross motor problems.
Your location is just in front of a green garage, but it on the public footpath.
This is not the first time Ive spotted the issue, but the hole has definitely got larger. The first time I spotted the issue was before Christmas.

Junction needs stop signs and a bollard in middle
15th March
The junction of station road to park street is dangerous, people entering the village along park st turning into station Rd cut right to the inside and often face oncoming traffic. This needs a bollard in the middle so they have to go round on the correct side. Also coming from station road people do not stop simply look right and pull straight out into oncoming traffic. Needs a clear stop sign on the road and the lines repaint as near invisible. Please see photo of black car cutting the corner he went head on with another car.

Busiest road corner in village. Blind left turn into Wood Road. Many car go wide onto wrong side due to no centre line hazard markings and poorly lit at night. Cars turning into Station Road cut the corner. At least 2 head on collisions have occurred here.
