Branches overhanging the main road - damaged
7th August
The beech tree is overhanging the main road and could drop on to traffic. Looks like it has been damaged by a truck or similar and could fall. Heading from West Bilney towards East Winch is on the right hand side just before you get to the East Winch 40mph sign, near the sold house sign.

Multiple potholes
14th February
Hello, along this stretch of road around the turning lane, theres multiple cracks and potholes on the road in both directions more so westbound. I try this road everyday and due to recent amounts of rain these pothole have been worse and I have to purposely swerve to avoid now otherwise they could damage my wheels if hit. This stretch goes on for about 100m its littered with cracks and holes. The closest one to East winch on the westbound carriageway it looks like the road is sinking, i notice there is a yellow H marked on the road with a yellow marked drainage kerb to the left, unsure of what this indicates, maybe a pipe. Over the last couple weeks Ive notice it getting very bad.

Excess traffic diverting
13th June
Every night for the past 2-3 weeks around 9: 30 pm onwards for round 1 hr or more we get lots of traffic coming past our house at the top of east winch road, east walton. We assume this is due to the roadworks on the A47 but we were led to be;ieve the closure would be from the HARDWICK roundabout t kings lynn. Can you stop all this traffic coming past our house. And through the village.

Street lights are not all operating.
26th April
Lights from Church Lane through to the far side of West Bilney on the A47 not all operating. At least two lights have been damaged by a collision of some sort. Warning tapes on one saying live wires. Have no idea how long the situation has been as bad as it is as the lights have been intermittent for two years or more

A47 Works East Winch
28th February
Hi, The whole time Ive lived in east winch along the A47 (which is around about 14 years) and the amount of times Ive seen the road closed for whatever reason weve never seen so much activity in anyone place, looking out my windows of an evening/night and speaking with workmen. Ive seen works progressing at a fast pace through here the last 8 weeks which includes new kerbs being installed, tarmac renewal and lets not forget the lines too - Also while this roads been closed Ive witnessed various other activities ongoing that being - Gully Cleansing, Sign Replacements, and tree works and litter collecting. Great Works by your team. Definitely made a difference to our little community and the passing traffic in the area.
Shame this couldnt be extended for the whole A47 Sincerely Barbara Porter.
